MRS. NGO passed away on June 20, 1987 in Saigon, Vietnam. Her Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. on June 23, 1987 in Saigon, Vietnam. More than hundreds of people came to pay their respects. We will always love her but we know she is not alone. She is with those who have passsed (her grandparents, her parents, her sisters, her brothers) and in God’s loving embrace looking down on us smiling and proud of her family for their strength, courage to keep going. Mrs. Ngo left behind family that love her and miss her so much. With the loss of our mother comes a deep sadness for all of us who know what a wonderful person she was. She was a wonderful and caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a true inspiration of courage, strength, and determination. We are grateful for the time we had with her. She will always be remembered for her passion, strength and ceaseless courage that became her hallmark. She has taught us so much and has left a permanent mark on the hearts of all who love and miss her. She is forever loved and eternally missed in our hearts. "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it: "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

THE MEMORIES OF MY MOTHER
Written by: LAN HUYNH Mrs. NGO's Youngest Daughter
Our Mom had health problem for several years. Her heart failed suddenly and unexpectedly on a Saturday afternoon. We did not have a chance to say "goodbye" or "I love you" to her. We know spending those last moments with her was an honor, and it will live in our mind forever. Life will never be the same, since the angels have called our Mom home. We miss her more and more each and every day! We are still filled with so much pain and sorrow. We love you Mom so much and I know you are in Heaven and you will prepare a place for us, so we can all meet again somedays.

Our Mom married to our Dad for 35 years. They had nine wonderful children together. Our mom was a kind and gentle person. She loved and lived for her family. She loved her family with unconditional love. She worked all her life to give to her family. Our Dad was her world, everything she did revolved around him. I guess love is the strongest force on earth it helps us overcome all obstacles in life.

Our Mom worked from a very young age. She had three sisters and two brothers. She lost her father at the young age. Her mother passed away when our Mom was at the age of twenty-nine. We were very lucky to have our Mom in our lives. Our Mom is not gone... she went home to our Lord. It comforts us to know she is with her parents who she missed so much and other family members who have passed.

Our Mom was always happy, smiling, laughing, enjoying life. The way she made everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. Now, we see she was an Angel sending to us on loan by our Lord. Heaven needed another bright light and called our Mom. We will always find comfort in knowing our Mom was happy and loved her life on earth. She will be missed by those whose lives she has touched in her very short life.

Our Mom loved being and spending time with us and we were very important to her. She loved and cared for her children with all her life and always put them first. She was so proud of all of us. She was a wonderful and loving wife and mother; a loving and caring daughter, sister, and friend to many. She never realized how many people she touched in her life. Everyone who knew her, loved her more than life itself. She was truly an amazing, love, understanding, laughter, and fun person full of life.

Her trademark was her smiles and her pleasant personality. You couldn't help but love her. People who just met her for the first time was touched by her carefree ways. A room would brighten when our Mom came in with her beautiful smiles. She loved to make people smile and laugh. I once read that, "if you have a sense of humor and can make people laugh, its the best way to display your blessed by the Lord because you enrich souls."

I truly believe that our Mom was blessed by the Lord, because she brought so much Joy and laughter to people, she enriched so many lives for her short time with us. Our mom was a gift and an inspiration to our family, and she lives forever in our hearts. We know that she is with God now, enjoying the peace and joy of His love, and that she is watching over us and waiting for us in Heaven. We have only to think of her, and she will be with us, reminding us that we are still in the arms of her love, God’s love, and the love of each other.

I have been dealing with real-life everyday and it is not always easy and smooth. I have had an easy day or a rough day. I wish you were still here to give me advises of what to do. You taught me how to love and how to be a good person. I will always be proud to be your daughter, Mom. I will always remember you and I will treasure every moment I have had with you. I will always miss and love you so much Mom. Your memories will always be in my heart. Thank you so very much for giving me the opportunity to be your child. You were my wonderful mom, my great teacher, and my very special friend. When you were gone I was still young. I did not have to deal with a real-life yet. You were and still are always helping me. Without you I can't be who I am today. Thank you for the wonderful gift of life you had given me Mom.

Thank you, Mother for all the rare gifts you gave with your life. You were a wonderful parent who any children could have ever wished for. You will always be remembered for your passion, strength and ceaseless courage that became your hallmark. In pictures, in memories, and in spirit we will love you forever." You are forever loved and eternally missed in our hearts. We always love and remember you for eternity, but we know that we will see you again someday. Please rest in peace until we meet again, Mom. May Buddha bless and comfort you.

THE MEMORIES OF MY MOTHER
Written by: HONG P. HUYNH Mrs. NGO's Youngest Son
The morning when I received the news that my mother passed away in a hospital, I was completely in shock. I remember I was at home at that time. I didn’t know what to do but standing at the door for hours, and looked outside, because I still hoped that my mother would walk through that door in any second, and hoped that news was just a horrible misunderstanding… But no matter how much I tried to convince myself that my mother would come home, I also knew that I would not see her ever again…

I wish I could tell her that I really appreciate everything she did for me. I would love to tell her that how important she was in my life. I would tell her she was a wonderful mother. I wish I could hold her and just hear her voice just one more time. Most of all, I wish I could tell her that I respectfully love her. Unfortunately, I was very young when my mother passed away; therefore, now I grow up, I feel like I have not done anything useful for my mother. She gave me everything that I needed, and now I cannot do even one little thing for her&hell
